Reggie M. Kidd, PhD

Dr. Reggie M. Kidd is a seminary professor and ordained minister. He earned his M.A.R. and M.Div. at Westminster Theological Seminary and his Ph.D. at Duke University. He currently teaches at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida. He has published the following books: Wealth and Beneficence in the Pastoral Epistles and How Can I Keep from Singing?

Richard L. Pratt Jr., ThD

Dr. Pratt is the president and founder of Third Millennium Ministries. He received his M.Div. from Union Theological Seminary and his Th.D. in Old Testament Studies from Harvard University. He formerly chaired the Old Testament department at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida. Then he transitioned in 2006 from his teaching role at RTS to work full time with Third Millennium Ministries. Among his published books are: Every Thought Captive, Pray With Your Eyes Open, He Gave Us Stories, and Designed for Dignity.

Linda Triemstra Cook

Linda Triemstra Cook is the author and instructor of this course. She edits trade and academic books, with emphasis on reference works and commentaries, and has edited seven Gold Medallion winners. After starting her editing career at Baker Book House, she established her own company and currently owns Gold Leaf Editorial Services. In addition to her editing, Ms. Cook co-teaches the Writer’s Publishing Workshop held twice each year at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

John Worgul, PhD

Dr. John Worgul received his B.A. from Bethel College, Minnesota in 1977, an M.A.R. in biblical studies from Westminster Theological Seminary in 1979, and his Ph.D from the Dropsie College in Hebrew Bible in 1987.  He has taught at Seminary of the East (now Bethel Seminary) since 1987 both full time and as adjunct.  In addition to biblical studies, Dr. Worgul has a deep interest in spiritual theology and formation.

Deb McCormick

Deb McCormick is the Founder and Executive Director for TEAMedUP, actively consulting teams to think and work better. She received her B.A. in Speech Communication from Louisiana Tech University and a M.A. in Speech Communication Consultancy from Oklahoma State University. She also has extensive professional training from The Bergerac Company, Development Dimensions International (DDI), Emme and Associates, and the Stephen Covey Learning Center. Furthermore, she is a certified instructor through Learning International and Dr. Edward De Bono in skills such as lateral thinking, coaching, and interpersonal management.

A gifted speaker and trainer, Deb McCormick has spoken in front of thousands of audiences specifically in the area of leadership and team skill training, experiential team building retreats, and meeting facilitation. Her vast knowledge of communication and the art of instilling confidence in people has inspired many leaders who are seeking to empower and unify their teams. Since 2005, she has consulted or spoken at corporate and Christian work environments on thinking and working better together as a team. As Consulting Director for Johnson & Johnson (1998–2004) and Director of Organizational Effectiveness at HDI Consulting (1995–2004), she was a vital trainer leading workers through tough subjects such as effective feedback, dealing with differences, and conflict resolution. Her quick wit and model character were recognized at the other companies she served at as well. Among the various leadership positions she has held are Area Vice-President for the McKesson General Medical Corporation (1992-1995) and Regional Sales Manager/Trainer for Cort Furniture, a nationwide furniture rental company.

In addition to consulting and coaching, Deb McCormick has spent time teaching at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana (2009–Present) as an adjunct professor and as a Speech Communication Instructor at Oklahoma State University. She has also been a trainer for the State of Oklahoma’s Department of Vocational and Technical Education where she facilitated workshops and supervised various trainings. Her passion for speech coaching has taken her all over the United States where she impacts both the corporate and ministry worlds.
