Successful completion of the test, or a portion of it, will allow you to earn your degree in less time and for less money.
Details and Guidelines:
- Must complete the exam in one sitting and within one hour. Failure to keep within this time limit will result in forfeiting your results.
- Exam is closed book, closed Internet and closed Bible
- The exam consists of Old and New Testament Bible multiple-choice questions.
- It is used by hundreds of other schools and thousands of students.
- The questions have been handpicked from a Christian accreditation body (Association for Biblical Higher Education).
- One attempt only allowed on this exam. No second chances are permitted.
- Log in at your convenience.
- You must score an 80 percent or better overall to pass the AP Exam.
- Scores under 80 percent will be evaluated by the Registrar’s Office with an option to test out of limited courses.
- Only students accepted into CUGN’s programs are allowed to complete the exam.

NOTE: A student must earn at least 50% of his/her program credits by taking courses through CUGN. No Certificate or Diploma will be awarded to anyone who wishes to use the AP Exam to test out of more than 50% of the program requirements.

Transfer and Single Course Information
CUGN presently offers a library of single courses in many Bible, theological, and ministry-related courses. Use for personal enrichment or transfer.
Program: Students can choose from over 120 courses. Click here for a course list.
Credit Hours: Earn as many credits as you need within this program. Completed course grades will be issued to your official transcript.
Transfer Credits: Although numerous schools accept transfer credit from CUGN, we cannot guarantee that the credits earned will be accepted by your school (unless it is one of CUGN’s collaborating schools). To ensure that a course you take through CUGN will be transferable to your college or seminary, please follow these three steps:
- 1. Request the course syllabus and a letter you can present to your school’s Registrar (contact us).
- 2. Meet with your faculty advisor. Describe the CUGN course you desire to take, and share a copy of the course syllabus. If your faculty advisor approves of the course as part of your overall curriculum, schedule a meeting with your school’s Registrar.
- 3. Meet with the Registrar, presenting the course syllabus, the letter from CUGN, and, if possible, written recommendation from your faculty advisor.
Cost:
- CUGN 200-level courses: $40 per course
- CUGN 300-500 level courses: $200/credit
